Mr. Calisti is licensed in Pennsylvania, Ohio and is NCARB Certified. An active American Institute of Architects member, he currently serves as chair of the AIA PA Small Firm Exchange (SFxPA). He is on the Greensburg Community Development Corporation (GCDC) board of directors. He served on the City of Greensburg’s Historic and Architectural Review Board (HARB) from 2007 to 2019.

Moreover, Lee is a 1991 B.Arch graduate of Kent State University, where he earned the AIA Medal of Honor as the top member of his graduating class. After being in practice for twelve years, he established the firm to pursue an interrelationship between practice and teaching. From 2002 to 2014, his role as an adjunct associate professor at Carnegie Mellon University’s School of Architecture allowed him to draw upon the fresh energy and investigative methods inherent in the studio environment as a tool in his office. His values of architectural education and its relationship to private practice continue to inform the office’s design process and approach to each project as a unique, special opportunity.

Active in social media as an ardent but critical promoter of the profession, you can read his well-known blog think|architect or follow him on Instagram.
